The Difference in Life as an H!P Egg and as a Up Up Girl

Saho Akari and Sengoku Minami were interviewed last time by UTB about their feelings towards Hello! Project and towards Up Up Girls. It's a good read actually, as this gives us a glimpse of what is it like to be an Egg for so long and not knowing if you'll ever gonna debut to the point that you just want to quit.

S/mileage- Chotto Matte Kudasai!

Chotto Matte Kudasai~! The latest single with S/mileage's current line up, and I hope it stays this way for a while!

  • Initial Reaction:

I LOVE IT! :D everyone sounds and looks great! It's so cute!!!!

  • Costumes:
While I can see how everyone's been saying "It's Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game!" I have to disagree. While they are similar in the fact that they are plain colorful dresses, they are cut in different ways. S/mileage's dresses are flowing and a bit poofy, meanwhile the Morning Musume dresses were straight and didn't look like they allowed for as much free movement. However, each girl was absolutely stunning in them! I particularly liked how Meimei looked here, I think most of it is that she work her bangs down, which wasn't really a look I'd seen from her yes, she's so cute~! They really all are!!!

  • Song:
It's so catchy~~!!! It's a fun beat that you always love about S/mileage. Every member got at least 1 line, and each member sounded perfect! As opposed to MM where you can somewhat tell who is a newbie and whose experienced, you didn't get that vibe. S/mileage was really together on this. Akari, Meimei and Kanon got to show off their high notes as well~!! :) it was really cute.

  • Set:

The set was a mix between Morning Musume's "Mr. Moonlight~Ai no Big Band~" and Momoiro Clover's "Mirai Bowl." It featured a cartoonish backdrop of a city. There was a dance shot, a group shot, single shots, a shot of the girls getting stuck to the backdrop and sliding down, and finally one where there was glass placed in front of them so they could draw on it. Very CUTE~~

  • Current S/mileage Lineup:

I love every single member of S/mileage, and I hope their lineup doesn't change for at least another 2 years (members can join, but no more graduations~!!!). They each have distinct, warm, inviting personalities. What I especially like in this PV is near the end of the first chorus when they're singing "Chotto Matte Kudasai" When Kana "messes up" (it looks planned) and joins in with the other members. It's a nice little touch that shows the relationships within the group~!!!! I think each girl sounds and looks GREAT in it :)

  • Final Statement:
I just love this XD I really can't think of anything else to say about how adorable and engaging this PV is

Until next time, please enjoy S/mileage's "Chotto Matte Kudasai"~~!!!!!!

Morning Musume- Pyoko Pyoko Ultra! PV

We finally get to see the PV featuring new 10th gen members~!!!!!!!!!

  • Initial reaction:
It's so... CUTE! Honestly, I'm just happy the line distribution was relatively balanced, Mizuki actually got a few good lines in!

  • Costumes:

I'm ok with the dresses, but i don't like the hats all to much, they only work on some people. The boots are odd but fit the costume, and I didn't like Gaki's dress with all the white puffy things on it, it was excessive and weird because she wasn't a particularly featured member in the song (though she also had a few good lines)

  • Song:
I honestly like this song. It's catchy, and has the same silly childish element as "Hyokkori Hyotan-jima" which is also a very fun (but a little out of place for Morning Musume)

  • Set:
The set, featuring a picket fence type dance shot and a cartoonish backdrop with projections of members on it were playful and fit both the song and the general concept.

  • 10th Generation MM:
While alot of people don't seem to take a shine to them, I like them alot~!!!! I just think they haven't been able to really do anything yet! The little I've seen of them so far, I'm impressed with. And while I do understand the complaints of them being a "rushed version of 9th gen" (with having 1 trained girl, 1 egg, 1 model, and 1 inexperienced girl) I think that, like any new members or new J-pop group, you really just need the time to get used to them, and see how different they are~!!!

  • Final Statement:
I love this PV because of the balance of voices, every member got at least 1 line, which is all I really ever ask for with H!P groups~! I liked it :3

Until next time, please enjoy "Pyoko Pyoko Ultra!" by Morning Musume:

MINNA~!!! Yoroshikun~!!!

Minna, Hajimemashite~!!!!
I'm Noa, but you can call me Nekomimi :3. I'm 17, and am absolutely obsessed with H!P. My Love started with Buono! and did nothing but evolve into Berryz, C-ute, Morning Musume, and I was already into the fandom when S/mileage debuted. My favorite group would, I guess, be Buono! as they were the first H!P group I listened to. My favorite member is Momoko Tsugunaga, also known as Momo-chii. I really do love all groups and all H!P members though! It's really hard for me to rank them XD
In my spare time I do musicals, (which is how I found MM in their productions of Cindarella and Ribbon no Kishi), I do fandubs and fan dances on youtube (NekomimiPro), and run a meme based blog on tumblr (http://fyeahhppiplup.tumblr.com/) that celebrates the fun and funny things about H!P and it's fandom. I can verbally pick out Japanese phrases, but I'm not fluent by any stretch of the imagination, and I can't read at all, but i'm trying to learn
I hope I can write interesting and engaging blog entries for you guys, so please support me :D
Until then, enjoy this video :3

It's the first H!P dance I learned :3

Kumai Yurina and Airi Suzuki To Star in a New Horror Movie!

It has just been announced that Berryz Kobou's Kumai Yurina and C-ute's Suzuki Airi will star in a suspense horror movie entitled "Oosama game", this is a popular cell-phone novel and this will be their first movie together!. It was said that the movie will be released this winter. Although, I'm not sure if this would be a high budget or a low budget movie but either ways I think this will be a good one since, it all members from both group will have appearances in the movie too and Yoshizawa Hitomi will represent Morning Musume!!!! *cheers to HP!*

Yurina will be playing the lead role of Honda Chiemi and Airi will be Honda's mysterious classmate, Iwamura Ria! Yurina confessed . "I’m definitely feeling the pressure. I get nervous standing in front of the camera. Movies are different from concerts and stage plays. You have to act in front of a camera. I struggled with that, but I did my best each day with the help of the cast and crew” . Yurina also admitted that everyone from both groups have been supportive of her.

As for Airi, who has just finished filming for Vampire Stories, had been preparing for her upcoming role by studying her character. She said “I heard that [my character] was a very mysterious person, so I spent time talking with the director and author about her facial expressions, unique way of talking, and so forth. That’s how I prepared for the role”

Producer Andrew Niwa-Tamon, known for his work in idol-centered dramas such as the ‘Keitai Deka‘ series explained that the reason why he chose both girls is that it's because of their "unique presence" although I don't exactly get what he mean by that. He also added “it wouldn’t be exaggerating to say that a masterpiece of high-school horror has been made”.

I'm really happy with this news and it's kinda funny because it would feature my favorite member from C-ute and as for Yurina, well, I used to hate her at first, but I don't hate her anymore =). It seems that HP has been starting to expand their experiences through HORROR movies *as always* and I hope that one day they could star the girls in dramas. I haven't seen Yurina acted yet so I'm really looking forward for this one and also because it would feature all members from BK and C-ute! So goodluck to everyone and do your best! We'll be waiting for the movie!

Another 3 New Girls Has Been Added to Hello!Project Eggs!

Another 3 new girls has been added to the H!P eggs!
They were Ogawa Rena, and Otsuka Aina along with Mogi Minami who were the MM 9th Gen finalists.
It's also been announced that these girls will be one of the performers for the next egg event.
This was revealed in the official confirmation of their September event now titled Hello! Pro Egg 2011 Happyou Kai ~September no Nama Tamago Show!~.
I never expect that Aina and Mogi will be part of the Hello!Pro Eggs. It's most likely a surprise for me. But I think Tsunku has plans for the new eggs.

Big Change! "MyMeLyricist" into "~Chuu!! Sugoi!Idol"

So, I announced earlier last week that I'll change the blog's theme into more H!P. Well, since I really got a hard time to think about what design should I make, I just made it as a theme that has more Maimai look. It turns out to be cute though.
Well, as how you noticed, I changed the title and of course, the link too. It made me feel so awkward since I'll change it into a fully H!P blog and the title "MyMeLyricist" makes the reader curious, I think. So, I change it into something cuter, "~Chuu!!Sugoi!Idol". Well, it's cute for me, even if the title don't have the exact meaning. It's just a cute expression about a young idol. Maimai's the star of the new-made-design, since, well, she's the first idol who brought me to H!P. It has scattered colorful flowers, featuring Maimai in a cute navy blue summer dress. I only did change the theme, and some of the settings, but I still have to work on about the entries, backgrounds, gadgets, and many more.

I'm glad I finished it for like 6 hours. I started doing this one just this noon, and gladly finished it. I got a little bit trouble about the main background's size, since you can't really just search it in the internet to find out what size it should be it, instead doing that, I just measure it myself. Fortunately, it got the exact measure.

Anyway, I couldn't have done this without everyone's support. Reaching the 3,000 hits for like 3 months and a half makes me want to write more. Thank you very much to those who always have the effort to read my H!P fanblog. This will be my early Christmas and New Year present for all of you. Thank you once again!
