BeriKyuu turns into Highly Skilled Art Thieves

                                         Another awesomeness form HP and UFA!!!! HELL YEAH!

Berikyuu members, Saki Shimizu, Mai Hagiwara, Maasa Sudou, Maimi Yajima, Yurina Kumai, Saki Nakajima and Risako Sugaya will star in the upcoming stage play of the manga/anime Cat's Eye!!!! The girls will be forming a small group called Cat's Eye 7 and will be performing the theme song of the play. (I'm seriously hoping for a PV!!! I mean, look at those kickass outfits???)

Yes! I'm so FREAKING HAPPY! I MEAN I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! Cat's Eye was one of my favorite childhood anime and now it's gonna get it's FIRST STAGE PLAY starring Berryz Kobou and C-ute girls! HOW FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT? I seriously love the story line of the anime and not to mention the fight scenes..LOL

It's a story about 3 beautiful Kisugi sisters namely, Rui, Hitomi and Ai who runs a cafe w/ the same name (Cat's Eye). The sisters lead a double life as a trio of highly skilled art thieves, leaving razor-thin "Cat's Eye" calling cards (adorned with a red cat emblem and capable of slicing through metal, skin and imbedding into concrete walls) at the scenes of their crimes. They steal works of art (mostly paintings) that belonged to their long-missing father, Michael Heinz, who was a famous art collector, in the hopes of him contacting them.

This September will mark the first stage play inspired by the popular classic thief manga“Cat's Eye.” The play will star members of idol groups Berryz Kobo and C-ute. The announcement was made at Comic Zenon magazine for Gekidan Geki-Hello's 12th production. It is said that the play will have 2 different versions, so 2 girls will be having the same role, and I honestly have no idea how they would do that.

The play will run from September 22 to September 30 at Tokyo's Ikebukuro Sunshine Theater, followed by a October 13-14 run at the Osaka Ion Cosmetics Theater Brava! stage.
